Contract for the Disposal of Construction Waste
This procurement exercise is for the implementation of a framework agreement to provide a contract for the receipt, segregation, recycling and disposal of all materials delivered to their designated facility by the Council’s own fleet and employed subcontractors. The Value is estimated and the Council makes no guarantee that they will be awarded any call-off and no guarantee is made in respect of any volume of work under any such call off contracts, or in aggregate under the framework agreement.
The framework has been split into the following waste streams lots:
Lot 1: Concrete/Brick/Mixture;
Lot 2: Soil/Stone;
Lot 3: Landfill Mixed Municipal;
Lot 4: Gully Waste;
Lot 5: Green Waste/Tree and Rootball/Wood Mixed Material Grade C.
It is the Council’s intention to award suppliers to the framework for each lot separately. Potential supplier(s) are able to tender for one or more or all lot(s).
Disposal of Concrete and Brick Mixture

Inclusion on the framework agreement does not automatically guarantee work, the work will be allocated dependant on the most advantageous supplier in terms of which company is logistically beneficial to the Council based on the most convenient to the drivers, taking into consideration location, mileage, availability and rate. The decision will be determined by officers of the Council.
