Early Years Health and Wellbeing Service.
In 2014 a review of Early Years Services was launched with 3 main criteria:
— Improve education and health outcomes;
— Reduce child poverty;
— Close the inequality gap in terms of education and life chances.
As a result of a wide ranging consultation of stakeholders a model has been developed of an Early Years Health and Well-being Service which have the key elements of:
— Quality health services from conception to age 5.
— Quality parenting support services.
— Keeping children safe.
To achieve our vision to ‘give every child in Birmingham and equal chance to have the best start in life so they can achieve their full potential’.
