Supported Accommodation for Young People (16+) Framework 2019 Reopen
Leicestershire County Council is undertaking a procurement process to identify and appoint a number of service providers to provide supported accommodation for young people aged 16 years and older who are looked after by or leaving the care of the Council, including unaccompanied asylum seeking children (UASC), and for 16 to 18 year old young people that do not have looked after status but are at risk of homelessness.
The framework started on 1.8.2017 but includes an annual refresh which allows for the framework to be reopened so that additional providers can tender for inclusion on the framework.
Supported Accommodation Staffed 24/7/365
To provide supported accommodation for 16-18 years old looked after children to be staffed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week including a minimum of 5 hours 1:1 additional support per person per week.
Option to extend for a further period or periods up to a total of 12 months taking the contract term to a maximum of 4 years.
This contract started on 1.8.2017 for an initial 2 year period and has the option to extend for up to a further 2 years. The total estimated value stated in Section II.1.5) includes the entire contract term including the option period.
Semi-Independent Accommodation
To provide semi independent accommodation for 16-18 years old looked after children with support on site 12 hours per day 7 days a week.
Independent Accommodation with Floating Support
To provide independent accommodation for 16-18 years old looked after children with floating support.
Option to extend for a further period or periods up to a total of 12 months taking the contract term to a maximum of 4 years
