The equipment required is a dilution refrigerator to allow for physics experiments with levitated optomechanics at low temperatures.

The equipment will be hosted in a laboratory at the Department of Physics and Astronomy in building 46 on UoS Highfield campus.

This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 766900.
